Patricia Heaton Opens Up About Botox

Showing that stars are just like us, Patricia Heaton recently got real about the pressures of Hollywood.

She explained that she’s undergone several surgical and non-invasive cosmetic procedures over the years to help her look and feel better.

Furthermore, Patricia, who is now 60, claims that there’s a fine line between enhancing your looks with Botox and good plastic surgery, versus looking unnatural and frozen.

Patricia Uses Botox to Look like Her Best Self

Like most patients, Patricia receives dermal fillers and Botox to enhance her appearance and look more youthful and refreshed.

Botox is an injectable neurotoxin that inhibits the contraction of facial muscles. As a result, it’s able to smooth lines and wrinkles and prevent deeper creases from forming in the future. Forehead lines, crow’s feet, and frown lines are often improved or eliminated with Botox.

Dermal fillers are used to restore volume, improve contours, and augment features. The cheeks, under eyes, lips, temples, and nasolabial folds are common treatment areas.

Botox and dermal fillers are both considered injectables and often used in combination for facial rejuvenation.

After 4 Pregnancies, She Had a Mommy Makeover

Patricia is very petite at 5’2” and gained 50 pounds with each of her pregnancies. She also delivered all babies via C-section.

During this time, she was in the prime of her career and wanted to feel more confident in Hollywood. So, Patricia decided to undergo a Mommy Makeover, which can address sagging breasts, loose abdominal muscles and skin, and excess fat in the abdomen, flanks, hips, and thighs.

More specifically, a mommy makeover includes several plastic surgeries, which may be performed at once, to help women reshape and contour their bodies after they have given birth.

Patients are often treated with a breast lift, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, and other body contouring procedures.

Maintaining Results with a Healthy Lifestyle

Patricia also emphasizes the importance of following a healthy diet, exercising regularly, committing to a daily skincare regimen, and limiting sun exposure to maximize the results of her cosmetic work.
